Mary Louise is an enthusiastic young lawyer, passionate about delivering quality services to all clients. She was admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of New South Wales in July 2024.
Mary Louise was employed as a paralegal for over four years while studying law. Because of that experience, while she is only newly admitted, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience that other graduates do not have.
Mary Louise has practical experience in reviewing various documentation required in property transactions. She has a particular proficiency in off-the-plan developments, and she also has hands-on experience working with property developers and their teams from commencement to the completion of their projects.
Mary Louise is an enthusiastic new recruit to the complex area of estate planning. Mary Louise communicates effectively with clients in relation to their estate planning and deceased estate matters. This includes drafting estate instruments and affidavits, as well as assisting in the filing and prosecution of applications with the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Experience
Mary Louise‘s private clients and commercial experience has included:
- Assisting with the establishment of various trusts (both commercial and personal) including testamentary trusts, unit trusts, discretionary trusts and self-managed superannuation funds.
- Drafting and reviewing loan agreements and attending to mortgage requirements with Land Registry Services New South Wales.
- Drafting estate instruments such as wills, enduring guardianships, powers of attorney, and deeds of family arrangement.
- Filing probate and administration applications with the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
- Preparing evidence and collateral documentation in support of Court proceedings.
Mary Louise‘s property and conveyancing experience has included:
- Preparing residential contracts for the sale of land in New South Wales.
- Reviewing and advising on residential contracts.
- Working with property developers in off-the-plan projects.
- Assisting with drafting and reviewing commercial and residential leases.
- Making applications for exemption or adjustment of transfer duty with Revenue New South Wales.
